St. Thomas School , Faridabad took its humble birth in the church premises at Sector-9, Faridabad in 1984 during the tenure of Rev. Fr. Varghese Vattamala. The School functioned in the Church premises till 1995.
During the tenure of Rev. Fr. Shaji Mathews, a plot of land at Sector-8, Faridabad was allotted for the School and the School was affiliated to CBSE in 1993.
St. Thomas School was shifted to its new magnificent building at Sector-8, Faridabad in the year 1995. Fr. Zachariah Panackamattom deserves kudos and a special word of appreciation for his successful financial management, dynamism and leadership.
The School was upgraded upto +2 level with commerce and humanity stream in 1998 and Science Stream was added to it in 2001-2002 during the tenure of Fr. Shaji George.
There is no doubt that the Parish and St.Thomas School have grown phenomenally during the last 3 decades rendering yeoman services to society. The enviable growth has been made possible with the concerted and sincere efforts of the parishioners and the most dedicated and selfless services rendered by its vicars.
Late H.G. Dr. Paulose Mar Gregorios, our first Metropolitan and H.G. Job Mar Philoxinos, our present Metropolitan have extended their invaluable guidance and spiritual elixir at various stages of our parish and School. Above all, we owe it to the blessings of our Lord Almighty and intercession of our patron St. Mary in whose name this Parish is dedicated.
